Congressman Lantos Announces Mark-Up of H.Res.121

On Saturday, after a reception in Los Angeles, Congressman Tom Lantos
spoke to the press and announced that H.Res.121 will be marked up on
June 26th. He said he will take responsibility for shepherding it
through the Foreign Affairs committee and then a vote in the U.S.
House of Representatives. He predicted that it will pass by a wide
margin.

米下院外交委員会のトム・ラントス委員長は16日、慰安婦決議案を26日の下院外交委員会本会議に上程する考えを明らかにした。
ラントス委員長は、「女性人権問題である慰安婦決議案を支持しており、決議案は大きな票差で通過する可能性が高い」との認識を示した。
ラントス委員長が決議案への支持を表明するのは初めて。
