Federal authorities have seized most of the assets of the woman suspected of running Tokyo Massage parlor, a lawyer for the woman said Thursday.
That admission, by attorney Doug Hendrickson, came hours after an investigator told a judge he believed authorities had already found more than $200,000 belonging to Kyong Stodolka.
・・・・・・・・・
The documents were filed under seal and a spokesman for the U.S. Attorneys Office in Cheyenne declined to comment on the case.
The suit seeks "all monies" on behalf of Stodolka, Kyong Suk Kim, Tokyo 199, Curtis Stodolka and Tokyo Massage. Kyong Suk Kim is listed in Natrona County court records as an alias for Stodolka.
Neither Thursday's testimony nor federal court records confirm whether the money referred to in circuit court is the same as the assets sought by the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Stodolka, who required a Korean translator at an earlier court hearing, has been a U.S. citizen since 1983, according to Hendrickson. He said she has been in Casper for 11 years, although Stodolka herself in an earlier court appearance said her home was in Minnesota.
