Yes, I agree that the method and content of education are important.

I realize that the in North America (or at least in Canada), teachers teach students that world peace, protection of the environment, racial harmony, and social equality are the most important. In China (or Hong Kong), the focus is more on "gaining face for the country" and "excelling in school and in society." I find that North American (or Canadian) education is more world-oriented and peaceful. I think that this is something that Asian countries should learn.

The method of teaching is important too. I believe that the North American style is better. It encourages students to be well-rounded and creative. The emphasis is not on memorizing but analyzing. I find that I've benefited a lot from the North American education system.
