Young Chinese born in the United States usually are critical of the policies taken by the current government in continetal China.They are glad to see the economic achievments for the last 20 years but they clearly know that people in China should have been more affluent than they are now if the voices of the people had chances to be heard of and opportunities to stand up.
What the government has done on the Chinese people is just giving them cheap bread while the high ranking personnels enjoy enormous priveleges and extravaganza in their lifestyles. Chinese here know that: But since they have their own bloodsharing relatives in China, they won't run a risk of invoking communist government's intrusion into private lives here and there. Speaking out against the Chinese government is the last thing for them to do.
It is really sad,indeed.
