To MAD3000-san
Well yes, I guess that we do have some thoughts in common. At least I think that merely shouting at each other is not going to do any good. What would you get at the end by insulting that a Chinese person like me is stupid? Obviously I won't agreeby nodding my head or stop to think whether I'm really stupid or not. If I'm a guy who has a good temper, I would just smile and ignore that person completely. If I have a bad temper, I would go to tell my friends of my experience with the Japanese atthe message board and let them share the "wonderful" experience of mine with me. They're lucky that I'm the first type. Regarding the "truth will become clear in the end" thing, well...I can't control how you think; I don't have the power to tell youhow to think; all I do is to tell you again that we hope to solve all issues with reasonable sense and with a just stance.
However, there is one thing I don't quite understand. I looked at another forum, which is about "Korea allowing imports ofJapanese culture." It seems to me that the topic sounds pretty positive and encouraging, and I thought I finally found something positive to read about. However, when I looked at all the messages in that forum, I found the same kind of insults or verbaldemonstration saying "Korean culture is inferior," "Korea will not be able to catch up to Japan until the end of the world," "Koreans are all whiners,".....I was shocked at those comments. Why in the world would people throw something like that in such apositive-sounding forum? Aren't Koreans finally trying to get along with Japanese now? (I don't know, I might be wrong) If that is the case, why can't they give the Koreans a break? It's obviously not nice to make enemies when you can make friends with the samepeople. I can understand why Japanese may not feel close to Chinese people, but pissing off another race who live right across your "house" is certainly not a wise idea. Well...,maybe you don't really care whether they piss them off or not. But don't thinklittle of the Korean people, they are very patriotic and they're willing to do anything to preserve their national honour and pride. I can tell this from what I see in the Korean community in Canada. You may think that Korea cannot rival with Japan at thepresent stage. But what about after the 2 Koreas unified? Will they adopt a pro-Chinese-pro-Russian national policy? Will they adopt a pro-American-anti-Japanese one? Or the other around? That is very important to know. I think that while many Japanese arepreoccupied with China, they should really care about Korea more.
