Japanese show calm response to China attack

Japanese have started hitting back online at the bitter anti-Japan campaign being waged on China's websites - but with far less vitriol than has been expressed by their neighbours.


"We should show the world in a demonstration the difference between the Chinese and civilised Japanese. Chinese only express their anger in the form of violence. We should organise a peaceful demonstration in Japan [and] make a sign in English saying 'Stay away from the Beijing Olympics'," said one entry on Japan's popular 2-channel website.
