To dabenniu-san
dabenniu-san,
(sorry, dabenniu-san, please allow me to use English
--
- my Japanese is not very good.)
I'm also very angry at the news about a pregnant Chinese woman insane by the Japanese police. I don't know how on earth could a groupof strong men beat a woman at all. Even after the lady told them that she's pregnant they didn't stop it but even tried to aim for her abdomen. That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard since I was born. Beating a woman is wrong in the firstplace (men are supposed to protect women, not beat them up.), beating a pregnant woman senseless is just.....totally absurd. It reminded me of an incident that I yielded a seat in the subway to a Japanese lady who constantly lost balance when the subwaywas moving. I respect all ladies, regardless whether they are Chinese, Korean, French, Japanese, Spanish,....and whatever. I can't believe such an unbelievable act could happen in a civilized place. If that happens in Canada, I'm not sure how huge thepublic outcry will be. Dabenniu-san, I fully understand how you feel, and I feel the same too. However, talking to them (those stubborn Japanese, not all Japanese) will get you nowhere and only make you angrier. Don't waste your time and energy on them. Inthe meantime, we should support our government's stance on the issue, work hard, and educate our children about the importance of respecting women. Good luck on your work.
