Thank you for telling me such.
Oh, so that is the reason why. Thank you for your honesty. I think that it is indeed a brave deed of yours to have said what is in your mind. Well, I can't control how you think. If you think that I come here to "teach" Japanese how to live theirlives, I can't do anything about it. As I said before, I merely wanted to state what I think on certain issues. I mentioned a few things which I think Japanese people should change, but you must also realize I did the exact same thing for China. I'vealways been saying that China is not perfect. I love my country and I want my fellow countrymen to live good lives. Racial equality and gender equality are just a few of the things that I think are important for China. Of course the execution part may bebeyond my ability to comprehend. However little I can do, at least that's how I will live my life. I believe you love your country too. If that's not the case, you wouldn't be so sensitive to what I've said. My wording might have been a little misleadingbut I never intend to "teach" Japan anything. In fact, there are certain things I think that China should learn from Japan. You've been misunderstanding my intention all along. I'm glad that you said what has been in your mind and now themisunderstanding seems to be over.
To be honest with you, I find that Japanese people are very sensitive to whether people of other Asian countries consider Japan as a "friend." When I went to the KOREA section and the TAIWAN section, there are numerousmessages saying whether person A or person B likes Japan better and things like that. Please don't misunderstand, latecomer-san, I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with it. It is just a natural way people respond to issues. What I find interesting isthat you can practically see no "like-or-dislike" messages on Chinese message boards. Almost every single message there is some sort of analysis pre-written by certain authors. I'm not saying which is more correct and which is not. It is just somethingthat shows the difference between Chinese and Japanese peoples. I understand that Taiwanese people harbour certain "complicated" feelings towards Japan, and I must admit that a portion of HKers like Japan too (you won't believe how many Japanese musicCDs I have at home). I may be wrong about this but it seems that Japanese people feel left out in Asia. I think that as the next generation becomes adults, there will be more understanding among various Asian countries.
Allow me to say thisagain: I have no intention to "lecture" Japanese on how to do things properly. That's your country and I think that Japanese people have enough discretion to be able to distinguish what should be done and what should not be done. However, there is nothingI can do if you insist in regarding my messages as lectures for the Japanese people. If you find someone who loves Japan, congratulations. People make mistakes, and I'm no exception. I saw only a few of the gentleman's messages and it was difficultfor me to tell whether the gentleman is a Japanese or a Taiwanese who is pro-Japan. I admit that I'm still having trouble with it.
