Japan's opposition party is expected to secure a two-thirds majority in the forthcoming elections marking a major shift in the nation's political landscape, according to the latest polls.
The Democratic Party of Japan is predicted to win Sunday's election by a landslide, bringing to an end more than five decades of near uninterrupted rule by the conservative Liberal Democratic Party.
