米空爆で子供ら１７人巻き添え死

【バンコク＝平田浩二】ＡＦＰ通信によると、アフガニスタン東部クナル州知事は四日、同州の山岳地帯で展開されている米軍による武装勢力掃討作戦で、子供や女性ら市民十七人が巻き添えになり死亡したことを明らかにした。
米軍と旧タリバンとみられる武装勢力との戦闘が続く同州で今月一日、行方不明になっている地上偵察部隊を捜索中の米軍機が同州チチャル村を激しく空爆、村人十七人が殺害されたという。

The Taliban Claims Responsibility for Attacks on American and Aghani Forces in Kunar Province

The Taliban, in a communique' issued yesterday, July 2, 2005, claims responsibility for attacks Friday, allegedly killing 28 Americans and 10 Afghanis, as forces were moved into Kunar province in Afghanistan to search for the soldiers lost in the shot down Chinook helicopter.
According to the message, the multi-city attacks within Kunar, resulted in the death of 15 Americans and five Afghanis Ghaziabad, and 13 Americans and five Afghanis killed in Jaswar, Takhar, and Murkayi. Further, the group purports to have fired missiles at an American helicopter, “which was hit, but landed at Asadabad.”
