対米全面テロ

ケリー博士の論の要点は以下のようである。

○It is difficult to imagine co-operation being properly established unless credi ble Iraqi officials are put into place by a changed Saddam.

フセイン政権下で、まともな国連査察が行われるとは思えない。



○War may now be inevitable. The proportionality and intensity of the conflict will depend on whether regime change or disarmament is the true objective. The US, and whoever willingly assists it, should ensure that the force, strength and strategy used is appropriate to the modest threat that Iraq now poses.

アメリカとその同盟国によるイラク攻撃は、イラクの国際社会に対する脅迫を打ち砕く正しいものである。




○The long-term threat, however, remains Iraq's development to military maturity of weapons of mass destruction - something that only regime change will avert.

イラクの大量破壊兵器は、

（それ自体、実際にはアメリカ軍・イギリス軍を脅かすほどのものではない。

しかしそれがテロ組織と結びついて、使用された場合には十分な国際社会の脅威となる。）

体制を変革させることによってのみ、可能である。


以上、ケリー博士の論は今現在から見ても、きわめて正しく説得的な論である。

馬鹿のryuuyuuressiに限らず、反戦派の人にはよく読んでほしいものである。

このような人物を、政府がわざわざ殺したりはしないであろう。

詳しくはなお不明であるが、BBCの記者に相当な責任があるのではないかと個人的には思っている。
