対米全面テロ

7月30日のファイナンシャルタイムス紙には、

クルド人のＫＤＰバルザニ党首が来日した際のインタビュー記事が掲載されている。


"We welcome Japan's decision to send troops to Iraq and we offer Kurdistan as a base. Security is not an issue there and we need the kind of humanitarian and reconstruction assistance that Japan can offer," Nechirvan Barzani, prime minister of the Kurdistan regional government, said in an interview with the Financial Times.


イラクに日本軍を派遣する決定を、歓迎するということらしい。



Mr Barzani said most of Iraq's population was happy to see the end of Saddam Hussein's regime and lived peacefully with the coalition forces. He said the level of opposition to the US presence was exaggerated by the media.

"The mass graves are proof that America did the right thing," Mr Barzani said. "The Kurds were the victims of Saddam's chemical weapons and we know he would have used them again if he could. It was courageous of President Bush to take action that has liberated us from that threat."


(大部分のイラク国民はフセイン体制が崩壊し、連合国の軍に守られて平和でいられることを喜んでいる。

アメリカ軍の存在に対する攻撃というのは、マスコミによって誇張されている。

大量埋葬地の存在は、アメリカが正しいことをしたことを証明している。

クルド人はフセインの化学兵器攻撃の犠牲者であるし、できるならフセインは何度も化学兵器を使用していたはず。

ブッシュ大統領がフセイン体制を攻撃するという勇気ある行動をとったので、我々はその恐怖から解放された。
