※署名者を一覧したところ、最初はアメリカ人ばかり、日本に頒布したと思われる
以降は日本の方ばかりです。
内容から言って、もっといろんな国の方にこの署名の存在を知ってほしいと思います。
受賞者達がこの呼び掛けをしているということ自体、戦争に危惧を持っているせかい
中の人にとって大きな励ましになると思います。

This letter has been signed by the following Nobel Peace Prize winners:
Mairead Corrigan Maguire, Betty Williams, Adolfo Perez Esquivel, Desmond Mpilo Tutu, The 14th Dalai Lama (Tenzin Gyatso), Rigoberta Menchu Tum, Joseph Rotblat, Jody Williams, The American Friends Service Committee.

In it, they call upon the world and the United States to refrain from military retaliation and to take concrete steps in developing a Culture of Peace and Nonviolence.
They urge the United Nations to take immediate action on their request.
