According to his family, Khudur was returning home from his fianc陬¨s home in the nearby village of Beit Kahel on 16 November when Israeli soldiers disguised as Palestinians opened fire on him, only 200 metres from his home.
His brother insisted vehemently that Khudur took no part in any stone-throwing at the Israelis.

Interviewed by the newspaper¨s West Bank correspondent, Amira Hass, the unidentified soldier admitted that Israeli occupation soldiers just shoot without much discretion.
＾If they (the field officers) tell a sharpshooter to fire, his intention will be to hit the head. The sharpshooters, or professional killers, normally use a lethal variety of bullets that cause a large whole in the head on impact, which means that death is guaranteed in 90% of the cases, as suggested by the soldier.
Palestinian hospital sources have pointed out that the vast bulk of the 267 Palestinian martyrs who have fallen since the outbreak of the uprising on 28 September were actually killed by sharpshooters using the deadly ＾high-velocity explosive bullets.￣
