ロスだけでなく、東部でも韓国人の黒人・ヒスパニック系への差別（殴る、銃で警告なしで撃つ等、異常な暴力行為を含む）を起因とした騒擾は絶え間なくありましたよ。

ただ、黒人のために弁護しておくと、当時、旧ブラックパンサー系の黒人団体、黒人人権擁護団体、消費者団体などは、すべて、韓国系以外のアジア人に危害が及ぶような事があってはならないと、教会などを通じて、何度もきちんと呼びかけていました。
