learn English grammer first.
It is not 'slung' but 'slang',and not 'interesting' but 'interested'.
Slung is past & pp tense of sling.
Also, interest is ａ transitive verb and should be used in past form in the context of the sentense.

Aussie English is based on British English.They call it BBC English.
